Founder
Beth Devine, Founder
Beth Devine is a lifelong athlete who left corporate America to go back to working with kids. Beth has a long history in running programs for children, including ten years directing the Future Stars Summer Camps basketball and field hockey programs. She has also been a Catholic Youth Organization basketball and softball coach and a sports clinician and instructor for nearly fifteen years. Beth is now Executive Director of the Philadelphia Youth Sports Collaborative.
Staff
Jillian Green, Executive Director
Jillian joins Philly Girls after a decade working in sports-based youth development (SBYD). First, with Up2Us Sports, a leader in SBYD, and then with DREAM – formerly Harlem RBI – running afterschool programming for youth in New York City. Jillian is a lifelong athlete and coach and cannot wait to create more opportunities for young women to lead active, healthy lives.
Danielle GIbson Potere, Lacrosse Program Director
Danielle Gibson Potere is a first grade teacher and has played lacrosse since fourth grade. Danielle attended Springfield High School in Delaware County with coach Carolyn Power. With Danielle as team captain, Springfield High won the first state championship in girls lacrosse. Danielle went on to play Division I lacrosse at Ohio State University, earning 2nd team honors at the American Lacrosse Conference. Danielle has a Masters in Elementary Education from Lehigh University. She enjoys reading, coaching, volunteering and exploring Philadelphia.

Philly Girls in Motion could not run its programs without the dedication and support of its volunteers, including coaches and players from Drexel University, Haverford College, University of Pennsylvania, Temple University and the Philadelphia Women’s Rugby Club.
